Why we redesigned E‑Booker - The story behind the redesign

E‑Booker has been a core part of how passengers book their journeys via the web for a long time, and over that time we’ve learned a lot about what works - and what could work better. After gathering feedback, watching how people use the system and reviewing the areas that caused the most friction, we decided it was time to give E‑Booker a thoughtful refresh.

This update isn’t about reinventing the wheel. It’s about refining the experience so booking a journey feels smoother, clearer and more intuitive for everyone.

A sleek, more streamlined booking flow

One of the biggest improvements you’ll notice is how much simpler the booking journey feels. We’ve tidied up the interface, reduced unnecessary steps and moved key choices - like payment method to the start of the process. It’s a small change that makes the whole flow feel more logical and easier to follow.

And because so many passengers book on their phones, we’ve made sure the design works beautifully on mobile. Everything loads faster, fits better and feels more responsive.

Alongside the visual refresh, we’ve strengthened the technology that powers E‑Booker. This upgrade improves speed and reliability, and it gives us a solid foundation for future enhancements. You may not see these changes directly, but you’ll feel them in the overall smoothness of the experience.

More control for airport pickups

Airport pickups can vary a lot depending on the airport, time of day and passenger needs. To give operators more flexibility, we’ve added the ability to customise the flight arrival buffer. Whether you need more than the standard 30 minutes or less, you can now set a buffer that makes sense for your passengers.

Flexible payment methods

Every business operates differently, now E‑Booker reflects that. You can set different pre‑booking limits for cash, card and account bookings, giving you more control over how far in advance passengers can book depending on how they choose to pay. If a date isn’t available, it’s simply greyed out - no confusion, no guesswork.

Quick card quotes without logging in

We’ve also made it easier for new passengers to get a fare estimate. If your system accepts card payments only, users can now get a quote without needing to create an account first. It’s a small but meaningful improvement that helps people get the information they need faster.

This redesign is the result of listening to operators and passengers and focusing on the areas that matter most. It’s not a dramatic overhaul - it’s a thoughtful evolution that makes E‑Booker easier to use, more flexible and more reliable.
