Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you’ll be deep diving daily/weekly/month data sets to identify and present key trends, behaviour patterns and opportunities using a variety of platforms such as Tableu and Gainsight. You will report to our iGo Head of Operation to support Autocab with our key business objectives to achieve the following:

  • Collect and interpret data
  • Data visualisation to convey complex data sets into meaningful information.
  • Volume analysis – forecasting capability and capacity against expected volume.

Job Requirements

  • Extract, collate and organise data for analysis
  • Use a variety of machine learning and statistical analytical techniques to gain insight into our data
  • Influence the decisions taken by commercial managers through robust and well interpreted analysis
  • Experience with reporting packages – Tableu, Gainsight, Excel, SQL
  • The ability to interpret large datasets

Qualifications

We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

  • Experience of data applications (Tableu, Gainsight, Excel, SQL, Power Bi)

  • Degree/equivalent in STEM subject, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science or Engineering – or currently working towards this qualification

  • Strong problem-solving ability & a pro-active learning attitude

Core Working Hours

  • 9am - 5pm, Monday – Friday
  • Hybrid options are available, in our new city centre office. 50% split
  • Our Collaborations Days are Wednesday and Thursday with alternate Tuesdays

Responsibilities

As the Product Manager for the Core Team you’ll be part of our Product team and cover the 4 core B2B products for our taxi operators and their drivers.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a lot of experience working closely with Development teams, excellent backlog refinement and prioritisation skills and strong communication skills. You’ll have experience in B2B SaaS businesses (ideally taxi industry experience) and a proven track record of being able to multitask on different products, across different teams, at once.

At the heart of your role, you’ll translate ideas from all across the business and customer base into a product strategy and then ultimately a roadmap of features and improvements to each of the product. You will be the voice of customer for each product and you’ll partner with the Product Innovation Manager as well as internal stakeholders; R&D development, design, marketing, sales, onboarding, to improve our B2B products. To succeed in this role, you will;

  • Have 2+ years Product Owner/Manager experience
  • Be a great communicator who can both change tone and tact depending on who you are speaking too, and build strong, effective relationships and influence senior stakeholders and teams
  • Enjoy collaborating with internal teams to drive quick delivery of new products and features to our customers
  • Relish autonomy. We’re currently a small team and being a self-starter who can wear multiple hats is crucial
  • Be a problem solver - solving problems with new technologies is key
  • Love analytics! We want to put data at the heart of our decision making and make sure we are measuring success.
  • Think commercially, not just for Autocab, but for our B2B customers as well

You will report to our Head of Product Management to support Autocab with our key business objectives to achieve the following:

  • Drive, with stakeholders, the B2B product strategy and roadmap for 4 products: Booking & Dispatch, Management, Accounts & Driver Companion (Android & iOS)
  • Evangelise the strategy so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going
  • Speak to customers about their requirements for your products and keep them in the loop on timelines
  • Prioritise roadmaps based on value
  • Create product requirement documentation based on internal stakeholder input and customer requirements
  • Work closely with our Innovation & UX team to make sure our customer experience is world class
  • Work closely with development tech leads & teams to create well defined, estimated backlogs of work
  • Define what success means for each feature/new product before it even goes to development and measure against this after release
  • Build great stakeholder relationships and work closely with them to promote your products both internally and externally, and to ensure a cohesive message
  • Spot opportunities for us to automated or streamlined products and processes

  • 2+ years of product management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Evidenced product discovery skills
  • Agile product management understanding
