Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative, you will report to our Sales Manager to help achieve Autocab’s sales objectives by proactively seeking new business opportunities and scheduling discovery calls for the Inside Sales Executive team. The successful applicant will go through a training process that will enable them to identify prospective clients, qualify the opportunity and introduce Autocab products through a consultative approach to ultimately schedule a discovery call. It is key to have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Additionally:

  • Use prospecting strategies to contact potential & existing customers – cold calls, Zoom/Teams video meetings, emails, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Identify the challenges and needs of the prospect, articulating how Autocab can help address these.
  • Schedule discovery calls with prospects, for the team of Internal Sales Executives to lead.
  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Have a strong understanding of all of Autocabs products, and stay up-to-date with new products and updates.
  • Maintain regular contact with key prospects, building strong professional relationships both new business and existing clients.
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
  • Hit & exceed KPI’s for calls and discovery meetings booked.
  • Working towards monthly or annual targets.

Job Requirements

  • Has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field e.g. data analytics, business administration, customer success
  • End-user experience of CRM/CSM tooling and ability to find and problem solve issues effectively
  • Rapid self-learner and adaptable to new software solutions and products
  • Highly organised with the ability to think strategically and prioritize tasks
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and varying stakeholder

Core Working Hours

  • 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
