Take payments securely with driver initiated Pay By Link

Allow your drivers to take card payments quickly and securely with driver initiated Pay By Link for Driver Companion.

Helping to simplify the payment process for drivers, and ideal for passengers looking to pay for their journey via card, Pay By Link enables drivers to send a secure SMS payment link to customers direct from their Driver Companion app with one simple click and swipe.

Please note that this update is for JudoPay customers only.

How it works

If enabled, drivers will see the card payment button on their fare screen.

Once selected, the driver will swipe to complete the job and the passenger will be sent a Pay By Link via SMS or have the option to scan a QR code if the SMS is not received.

Passengers will click on the secure link and enter their card details to complete the payment. If successful, the driver will be notified and the vehicle cleared.

If the passenger declines to pay or payment fails, the booking will be reverted to a cash booking and the driver will be informed. If the driver clicks to cancel, Pay By Link can no longer be used and the booking will revert to a cash payment.

Keep an eye out as Apple Pay and Google Pay will be coming to this Pay By Link feature very soon!
