DG Cars' delivery service hit the news headlines last week

It was fantastic to see DG Cars’ delivery service being splashed across the news headlines last week.

DG is now carrying out more than 3,500 delivery jobs per week on behalf of more than 160 local restaurants in the Nottingham and Derby region. To cope with this huge demand for their new service, the firm has needed to hire an extra 175 drivers.

News of this success resulted in DG’s director Omair Javaid being inundated with requests from ITV News, the Nottingham and Derby regional press and local radio stations.

DG has been able to launch this service after deploying Delivery Point. Omair said:

“It has opened up doors for our business – and enabled us to provide a new opportunity to our drivers, who were struggling due to lack to the lack of passenger and traditional corporate work.”
