Autofab Five take 3!

Welcome to the final segment of Autocab’s ‘AutoFab Five’. In the past few weeks, we have been profiling the amazing, heart-warming community work being carried by our customers during these uncertain times.

Hastings Private Hire Manchester

To show their appreciation for their local NHS staff, Hastings Private Hire Manchester is giving the first £5 free of NHS workers’ journeys to and from work. They are doing this to say thank you for everything that the NHS is doing to help the community throughout these unprecedented times.

Hawk Express Cabs

Hawk Express Cabs are offering Click and Delivery service of essential items to help support their local community.

Here is just one example to show how much their fantastic work is impacting others:

“Just wanted to say thank you for collecting some shopping for me. I can finally eat now thanks to you and your driver”.

Huddersfield Taxis

Huddersfield Taxis are also doing everything they can to support their local community. They are offering a number of services alongside their safe, reliable and hygienic taxis. Some of the services they are offering include, click and collect deliveries, transporting any type of goods to the elderly and vulnerable and offering priority to key workers getting to and from work.

It is fantastic to see how hard the team at Huddersfield Taxis are working to support their local community.

Need A Cab Plymouth

Need A Cab have also been showing their appreciation for NHS staff this month by donating 60 large jars of boiled sweets to Derriford Hospital. The sweets were distributed to all departments as a way of saying thank you to all staff who are working incredibly hard to keep the community safe!

In addition to this, they are also offering 20% off fares for NHS workers, care workers, support staff, factory staff and all key workers during this critical time.

Wrexham & Prestige Taxis

Wrexham & Prestige Taxis are doing everything they can to help out the local community. Additionally, their General Manager, Carla, put out this lovely statement:

“Here at Wrexham and Prestige Taxis, we would just like to check-in and show our support/send our thoughts to everybody at this difficult time.

We really cannot express our appreciation to all NHS workers, key workers, customers, local businesses, our drivers, receptionists and management team! You are all outstanding.

We are still operating as normal but using all of the correct safety measures/guidelines as provided by the local government. All drivers have ensured us, that they have access to the relevant antibacterial cleaning products required to appropriately wipe down interiors as often as possible in order to protect our valued customers on their essential journeys and themselves.

Just to reiterate:

In light of the current Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure our valued customers (taking essential journeys) that we are taking every possible and necessary step to protect you during this difficult time.

It has been made very clear to our drivers that they should absolutely not come to work if they are feeling unwell or show any symptoms of COVID-19 whatsoever.
