We’re really pleased to announce our Autocab Phase #2 Emergency Relief Fund, with a pledge to defer Ghost license fees by 50% for the next 4 months to help our customers during these unprecedented times.
We know it’s still tough out there and whilst some private hire taxi companies are seeing small improvements in demand and more drivers returning to work, we’re still a long way off pre-lockdown numbers. Predictions for when we might return to ‘normal’ mean we’re still some way off business as usual.
We know many of you opted-in to our £500,000 Operator Relief Fund and are taking advantage of various government schemes such as furloughing staff and applying for loans to help weather the downturn. As your technology and business partner, we wanted to go one step further in helping you reduce costs by offering all customers access to the Autocab Phase #2 Emergency Relief Fund:
The Autocab Phase #2 Emergency Relief Fund
We are delighted to announce the creation of the Autocab Phase #2 Emergency Relief Fund, which we would like to use to enable taxi operators to defer 50% of the next 4 monthly Ghost cloud payments.
There is no limitation to the number or size of operators who can opt-in. We believe the Emergency Relief Fund is a sustainable way for Autocab to help our customers when they most need it.
We will defer 50% of the next 4 monthly Ghost Cloud payments for all operators that opt-in that have an active Direct Debit mandate or Standing Order currently in place.
If you opt-in, your deferral period will begin in June and will be in addition to any discount already provided through the Operator Relief Fund.
The 50% deferral will apply to your Ghost cloud payments for June, July, August and September 2020.
Please note we are delaying drawing ALL direct debits or requests for BACS transfers until June 11th to give operators the opportunity to opt-in. If you wish to benefit from the Emergency Relief Fund and defer 50% of payments, you must do so before May 28th, 2020.
Starting in October 2020, the total deferred amount will be repaid over twelve months in equal instalments through direct debit.*
*If you have less than twelve months remaining on your contract, we will automatically extend your contract length to twelve months to help spread the repayment.
