Text Back

Here by popular demand, one of the latest features from Autocab is Text Back, an alternative to Ring Back, and is just as simple to use.

How does it work?
When the driver arrives at the pick-up point they simply press a button on the data terminal to tell the system to initiate Text Back. The system will then ring the customer’s phone alerting them that their taxi is waiting outside.

A number of messages can be created using information from Driver & Vehicle details – you compose the messages that suit your company’s needs. These messages can be sent to the customer’s phone at three different times, 1) When the job has been dispatched 2) When the taxi is waiting outside 3) As a ‘thank you’ a few minutes after the journey has been completed.

The text message is completely customisable for each taxi firm, so, you can add a more personal touch such as “thank you for using XYZ Cars”.

Text Back greatly reduces the risk of your customers getting into the wrong taxi which is safer for them and reduces the risk of other companies picking up your fare by mistake.

Text Back is also a great way to advertise your taxi services as you could insert a line at the end of the message saying “try our new IVR & e-booking service and get a taxi quicker! ”.
