Lynch PH - Salford Quadruple in size with Autocab
Lynch Private hire based in Salford, Manchester, have been established for over 32 years. They have a mixed fleet of owner drivers and private hire vehicles including private mini bus hire, executive taxi hire and mini coach hire. They began life with Autocab in 2002 when their 25 car fleet had become difficult to manage on the basic pen and paper system. Recognising an opportunity for development and expansion that would come with new technology, John Davies from Lynch PH, decided to install Autocab.
Lynch PH now has a fleet of 110 cars with Autocab
Lynch PH have gained 85 drivers to take their fleet to 110 cars making them one of the most developed taxi firms in Manchester which has delighted John and the rest of the team at Lynch PH. In addition to this expansion, Lynch PH has recently moved in to a brand new, state of the art booking and dispatch centre in Swinton. John was kind enough to invite us down to visit him and his team at their new base so we took the opportunity to get some feed-back on how things were going overall with Autocab. “…Once we got to about 25 cars we found we struggled to effectively manage our fleet on voice. It became very difficult to organise things and provide the level of service we wanted to. I think the limit for operating on pen and paper is about 25 - 30 cars so it was definitely time to install Autocab. Now we can track each car in real time with GPS…

…We always get great feed-back from the operators and the drivers about the Autocab system. They love it. We went live with the Autocab data system about 6 years ago and we have never looked back.
