Increase Your Work... Not Your Overheads
As your business grows, the Autocab system offers several direct booking facilities to handle regular bookings with no need to increase staff levels and salary overheads.
Caller Line Identification
Caller Line Identification (CLI) enables your system to read the caller's number before the line is answered. If the caller has used you before, the system will present the last job done to the telephonist to either accept or edit. This saves time and trouble and also reduces the incidence of typing errors.
TeleBooking
End the frustration of busy telephone lines for your customer by installing TeleBook. With this, your customer can send a unique series of job numbers directly to your system on a reserved line. Each job number represents a particular regular journey, so the pick-up point doesn't have to be the same location as the telephone. The service is secure as a PIN is provided, and the system will confirm that the taxi has been booked and is on its way.
SMS Text Booking
Your regular or VIP customers can book a cab directly from their mobile phone, without talking to an operator. Using similar logic to the TeleBooking module, SMS Text Booking uses a series of text strings to recognise which job your customer wants. Both TeleBooking and SMS Text Booking provide you with work that does come via an operator, increasing your volume of business with no additional dispatch personnel.
Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
This is intelligent software that recognises speech and can book work directly onto your system. It comes in two forms:
- Simple recognition which confirms where you are booking from and gives the caller the option of booking a taxi by either replying to a set of scripted questions or speaking to an operator.
- Advanced speech recognition software which intelligently uses the customer’s job history to guide them to the most likely options and recognises their spoken answers.
Both options provide a solution to staff absenteeism, sickness and holidays, and provide a route for growth without high staff overheads. Many Autocab system users take over 25% of their bookings automatically.
eBooking via Internet
Enables your account and regular customers to book jobs directly onto your system on-line. You can decide whether work can be dispatched directly or held for your staff to approve it. The customer enters the data with a simple 'one key' operation for a default job, and can also book multiple jobs, set their preferences and view history.
* EPB stands for 'Email Parsed Booking' and it works this way. An email server attempts to read the inbound emails using advanced OCR software. If it can identify a booking request in this way, it will book the job and send a confirmation. If the message is such that it cannot recognise a booking it will mail back an enquiry template for the customer to use should they wish to.
